Update your regular burger with this Greekinspired flavour twist. Seasoned with oregano, onion and garlic and topped with crumbled feta and baby spinach, it’s a winning combo that’s sure to impress!

Ingredients

Lean lamb mince

500 g

Brown onion

1 medium, finely chopped

Garlic

1 clove(s), crushed

Dried oregano

1 tsp

White bread roll

4 medium, (4 x 50g)

Baby spinach

15 g

Reduced fat feta cheese

75 g, crumbled

Oil spray

1 x 3 second spray(s)

Instructions

  1. Place 500g lean lamb mince, 1 finely chopped
  2. brown onion, 1 crushed garlic clove and 1
  3. teaspoon dried oregano in a large bowl. Season
  4. with salt and pepper and mix until well combined. Divide evenly into 4 portions. Shape each portion
  5. into a 1½cm-thick patty. Split 4 x 50g white
  6. bread rolls in half. Lightly spray a grill pan with
  7. oil and heat over medium-high heat. Add roll
  8. halves and cook for 1-2 minutes on each side
  9. until toasted. Transfer to a large plate and cover
  10. loosely with foil to keep warm. Add patties to
  11. same pan and cook for about 4 minutes on each
  12. side or until cooked through. Place patties on roll
  13. bases, top with 15g baby spinach leaves and
  14. 75g crumbled reduced-fat feta cheese. Cover
  15. with roll tops to serve.
