Frozen chocolate-dipped banana bites
2 small, ends trimmed
Dark chocolate melts
- Cut each banana into 8 x 1½ cm-thick slices. Spread almond butter evenly over 8 banana slices. Top with the remaining banana slices. Transfer to a foil-lined plate. Cover with foil and place in freezer for 30 minutes or until firm.
- Microwave chocolate in a small microwave-safe bowl on High (100%) for 30 seconds, then stir. Continue to microwave on High (100%) in 20-second bursts, stirring until smooth and melted.
- Dip half of each frozen banana bite in the melted chocolate. Place on the foil-lined plate and return to the freezer for a further 2 minutes or until chocolate is set. Transfer banana bites to a container and store in the freezer for up to 1 month.
