Dates with labne and cardamom orange syrup

Try this recipe to harness the sweetness of the dates to create a magnificent dessert.
1 cup(s), (250ml), strained, fresh juice
5 whole, pods bruised
12 individual, pitted
95 g, (1/3 cup)
20 g, finely chopped
15 g, unsalted, finely chopped
- Place the juice, honey and cardamom in a small saucepan. Bring to the boil. Boil for 3 minutes or until syrup thickens slightly. Strain to remove the cardamom.
- Divide the labne between the cavities in the dates. Divide the dates among serving plates. Spoon over the syrup and sprinkle with the nuts.
