Dark chocolate bliss balls
Canned chickpeas, rinsed and drained
¾ cup(s), (130g)
Light peanut butter
¼ cup(s), (60g), smooth variety
⅓ cup(s), (75g), dark variety
Light cream cheese
Vanilla bean extract, alcohol free
Bicarbonate of soda
Dark chocolate chips
- Process chickpeas, peanut butter, brown sugar, cream cheese, vanilla, bicarbonate of soda and a pinch of salt in a food processor until smooth. Add flour and chocolate chips. Pulse until just combined. Transfer mixture to a bowl, cover and refrigerate for 1 hour or until mixture is well chilled.
- Sift sugar and cocoa in a shallow dish. Shape chilled mixture into 36 balls and roll in cocoa mixture to coat.
