Instead of serving store-bought condiments with your roast turkey, try our sweet cranberry and fresh rosemary gravy. It will take you 15 minutes to whip up and it’s worth every second.

Ingredients

plain flour

2½ tbs

salt reduced chicken stock

2 cup(s), (500ml)

dried cranberries

cup(s), coarsley chopped (45g)

cranberry sauce

2 tbs

fresh rosemary

1 tbs, chopped

Instructions

  1. Place reserved pan juices in uncleaned baking dish over medium heat (see tip). Add flour and cook, stirring, for 5-6 minutes or until browned. Gradually stir in stock until smooth.
  2. Add dried cranberries, cranberry sauce and rosemary. Bring to the boil. Reduce heat and simmer, stirring, for 3-4 minutes or until gravy is slightly thickened.

Notes

TIP: Use 2 tbs of reserved pan juices from your roast to make gravy.
