Cinnamon-apple tray baked oats
Dry rolled oats
2¼ cup(s), (200g)
¼ cup(s), (55g), tightly packed
1⅓ cup(s), (330ml)
Vanilla bean extract, alcohol free
2 medium, unpeeled, grated
⅓ cup(s), (40g), chopped
3 cup(s), (485g), chopped if large
1 x 3 second spray(s)
- Preheat oven to 190°C. Combine oats, sugar, cinnamon, baking powder and ¼ teaspoon salt in a large bowl. Whisk eggs, milk, vanilla and ¾ cup (185ml) water in a separate medium bowl. Stir egg mixture into oat mixture until combined. Fold in apples.
- Lightly spray a 18cm x 28cm baking dish with oil. Spoon in oat mixture, then scatter over pecans. Bake for 25-30 minutes, until lightly golden. Cut into 6 even slices. Serve warm, topped evenly with berries.
