Cherry berry eton mess
The classic English dessert tastes divine with crunchy meringue, fresh cherries and a sprinkle of flaked almonds
500 g, strawberry flavoured
40 g, vanilla, coarsely crushed
80 g, pitted
- Evenly divide a third of the fruche among four 2/3 cup (160ml) capacity serving glasses. Top with half the meringues and half the cherries then half the remaining fruche.
- Repeat layering with remaining meringues, cherries and fruche. Serve sprinkled with almonds.
TIP: You can use any flavoured frûche or fruit. Try using vanilla meringues instead of chocolate.
