The classic English dessert tastes divine with crunchy meringue, fresh cherries and a sprinkle of flaked almonds

Ingredients

Fruche, Fromage Frais, Strawberry Fields

4 small, (125g each)

meringue

40 g, vanilla, coarsely crushed

cherries

80 g, pitted

flaked almonds

2 tbs

Instructions

  1. Evenly divide a third of the fruche among four 2/3 cup (160ml) capacity serving glasses. Top with half the meringues and half the cherries then half the remaining fruche.
  2. Repeat layering with remaining meringues, cherries and fruche. Serve sprinkled with almonds.

Notes

TIP: You can use any flavoured frûche or fruit. Try using vanilla meringues instead of chocolate.
