This fiery festive drink is a bright burst of colour and a big punch of flavour!
2 tbs, 4cm pieces, sliced
Vegetable juice, all types
¼ tsp, Few drops
Natural mineral water
2 cup(s), 500ml
1 medium, sliced to serve
- Place the sugar, ginger and 2/3 cup (160ml) of water in a small saucepan. Cook, stirring, over medium heat until the sugar dissolves. Simmer until the syrup is reduced by half. Set aside to cool slightly. Strain the syrup and discard the ginger.
- Pour the ginger syrup, lemon juice and carrot, orange and apple juice into a jug and add Tabasco to taste. Stir to combine.
- Divide the ice among six serving glasses. Pour the juice mixture over the ice and top with mineral water. Decorate with celery and orange slices.
SERVING SUGGESTION: 30ml white rum per serve.
