Freshen up Brussels sprouts with tangy capers, sweet maple syrup and flaked almonds.

Ingredients

Brussels sprouts

4 cup(s), (12-16 sprouts)

Olive oil

1 tbs

Garlic

2 clove(s), thinly sliced

Flaked almonds

2 tbs

Capers, rinsed, drained

1 tbs

Maple syrup

2 tsp

Instructions

  1. Halve or quarter sprouts. Cook in a non-stick frying pan with oil over medium heat until lightly golden. Add garlics, almonds and capers. Cook until capers are crisp and almonds are golden. Drizzle with maple syrup.
