BLT with egg (BELT)
The classic combination of bacon, lettuce and tomato becomes even more satisfying when you add fried egg.
2 slice(s), (2 x 25g slices)
Multigrain bread roll
1 medium, split
20 g, (2 leaves)
1 medium, vine-ripened (3 slices)
1 x 3 second spray(s)
- Lightly spray a medium non-stick frying pan with oil and heat over medium heat. Add the bacon and cook for 2–3 minutes or until crisp.
- Meanwhile, cook the egg (in the same pan as bacon) for 2–3 minutes or until egg white is set and yolk is still soft.
- Preheat grill on high. Grill roll, cut-side up, for 1–2 minutes or until lightly browned. Top the toasted bread roll base with the lettuce, tomato, bacon and egg. Sandwich with remaining roll half. Serve.
