This sweet and spicy dry rub is perfect for a batch of ribs or a slow-roasted pork shoulder. It can also be used on chicken and fish.

Ingredients

Brown sugar

2½ tbs, firmly packed

Ground paprika

1½ tbs

Garlic powder or flakes

1 tbs

Mustard powder

1 tbs

Dried thyme

3 tsp

Ground cayenne pepper

2 tsp

Ground cumin

2 tsp

Onion powder

2 tsp

Smoked paprika

2 tsp

Pepper

1 tsp, black, coarsley ground

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a small bowl. Store in airtight container for up to 6 months.

Notes

This recipe makes 110g (44 teaspoons). 1 serve = 1 teaspoon.
