Looking for a fruity, slimming dessert? This clever 5-ingredient crumble is ready in less than an hour

Ingredients

Apple(s)

800 g, Granny Smith

WW Choc Nut Bar, Macadamia and Cranberry

2 bar(s), chopped

Plain flour

2 tbs

Reduced fat oil spread

1 tbs

Diet jam

2 tbs, Strawberry

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180ºC or 160ºC fan-forced. Peel, core and quarter apples then cut each quarter into 3 thick slices. Place apples and 2 tablespoons water in a large saucepan. Cover and bring to the boil, then reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 10 minutes or until apples are tender. Spoon cooked apples into 1.25-litre (5-cup) capacity ovenproof dish, then dot evenly with the strawberry jam.
  2. To make the crumble topping, place chopped nut bar, flour and spread in a medium bowl. Using your fingertips, rub together until well combined. Sprinkle crumble topping over apple mixture, then bake for 20 minutes or until golden. Serve.

Notes

TIP: You can use pear instead of apple.
