Roasted bell peppers blended with tangy sour cream give the dip layers of flavour while basil and cilantro add a fresh and herbaceous note. Serve it with toasted pita wedges, whole grain crackers or fresh vegetable crudités for a fun starter or serve with grilled shrimp skewers as a delightful dipping sauce. If you want to kick up the smoky flavour, sprinkle a bit of smoked paprika over the top as a garnish and flavour booster.

Ingrédients

Roasted red peppers (packed in water)

15 oz, packed in water, drained (about 2 cups)

Reduced-fat sour cream

Garlic powder

In a blender, combine roasted peppers, sour cream, basil and garlic powder; puree until smooth. Season to taste with salt and black pepper; garnish with cilantro.
