Riesling wine perfectly complements the flavour of fresh peaches in this refreshing and easy summer sangria.

Ingredients

Hill Street Vin(Zero) Sauvignon Blanc

750 ml

sweetened tea

12 fl oz, peach variety

peach schnapps

2 fl oz, (1/4 cup)

peach(es)

3 medium, ripe, pitted, thinly sliced

Granny Smith apple

1 large, thinly sliced

lemon(s)

1 medium, thinly sliced

carbonated lemon-lime soft drink

8 fl oz

Instructions

  1. In a small pitcher, combine wine, iced tea, schnapps, peaches, apple and lemon; chill for at least 3 hours or overnight. When ready to serve, add soda and serve over ice. Yields about 1 cup per serving (including fruit and ice).
  2. Serving size: 1 cup (including fruit and ice)

Notes

If you can’t find ripe peaches, feel free to substitute frozen peaches, or 2 peeled, sliced mangoes instead. You can use your favorite white wine in this recipe (could impact the recipe's SmartPoints value).
