A delicious, fresh new spin on a tuna salad sandwich.

Ingredients

WW Bread Multigrain sandwich thins

4 thin

water-packed tuna fish drained

2 can(s)

uncooked onion(s)

½ small

Granny Smith apple

½ medium, diced

uncooked bell pepper(s)

½ item(s), medium, diced

uncooked celery

¼ cup(s), diced

mayonnaise

½ cup(s)

fresh lemon juice

1 tsp(s)

avocado

½ item(s), medium, diced

table salt

1 pinch

black pepper

romaine lettuce

1 cup(s), shredded

cos lettuce

1 cup(s), shredded

Instructions

  1. Combine tuna, onion, apple, bell pepper, celery, mayonnaise and lemon juice in a medium bowl and mix together thoroughly. Fold in avocado and season with salt and pepper, to taste.
  2. Layer 1 lettuce leaf on each sandwich thins base. Top with a scoop of tuna salad and sandwich thins lid.
  3. Serving size: 1 sandwich
