Hulled barley (groats)

1 cup(s)

Water

2½ cup(s), boiling

Kosher salt

¼ tsp(s)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Thoroughly rinse 1 cup hulled barley and add to a 2-qt glass or ceramic baking dish. Add 2½ cups boiling water and ¼ tsp kosher salt. Cover tightly with foil and bake for 1 hour. Fluff with fork and serve.
