Canned chipotle peppers in adobo sauce

Honey

Garlic

Chili powder

Ground cumin

Uncooked lean and trimmed beef flank steak

To make rub, combine chipotles en adobo, honey, garlic, chili powder, coriander, and cumin in small bowl. Rub mixture over both sides of steak. Place steak on plate; cover and refrigerate overnight or up to 24 hours.

Spray grill rack with nonstick spray. Preheat grill to medium- high or prepare medium-high fire.

Place steak on grill rack and grill, turning once, until instant- read thermometer inserted into side of steak registers 145°F, 10–12 minutes. Transfer to cutting board, sprinkle with salt, and let stand 5 minutes. Cut steak into thin slices.
