If you’ve ever enjoyed frozen grapes or berries, one-up your game with yogurt-covered fruit that offers a little protein boost. We use plain nonfat Greek yogurt that we lightly sweeten for a honey-kissed effect. Freeze the fruit spaced apart on a sheet pan, and then transfer to a resealable freezer bag or covered container once firm. We like a mixture of fruit, but you can use all of one type if you prefer.

Ingredients

Plain fat free Greek yogurt

¾ cup(s)

Honey

1½ tsp(s)

Grapes

¾ cup(s), seedless

Blueberries

½ cup(s)

Raspberries

½ cup(s), firm

Instructions

  1. Line a sheet pan with wax or parchment paper. In a small bowl, stir together the yogurt and honey. One at a time, dip each piece of fruit in the yogurt mixture, turning to coat. Lift out with a small spoon, and arrange on the prepared pan.
  2. Freeze until firm, at least 1 hour. Transfer the fruit to a resealable freezer bag or covered container and store in the freezer for up to 2 weeks.
  3. Serving size: about ½ cup
