Plain lowfat yogurt

2 cup(s)

Reduced calorie mayonnaise

½ cup(s)

Table salt

1 tsp(s)

Cumin seeds

½ tsp(s)

Cayenne pepper

¼ tsp(s), optional

Cucumber(s)

1½ cup(s), seedless (English), diced

Uncooked red onion(s)

½ cup(s), chopped, diced

Mint leaves

6 tbsp(s), fresh, chopped

Fresh dill

6 tbsp(s), fresh, chopped

Instructions

  1. Stir together yogurt, mayonnaise, salt, cumin and cayenne pepper in a medium bowl until smooth.
  2. Add cucumber, onion, mint and dill; stir to mix. Yields about 1/2 cup per serving.

Notes

You can also swap the reduced-fat yogurt and mayonnaise for fat-free versions of the same products.
