The avocado is a delicious topping for these burgers, and subbing in cilantro for lettuce gives them an even bigger flavour boost. If you want to enjoy a 1 SmartPoints value burger, skip the bun and dressing and serve the burgers on a salad of chopped lettuce, tomatoes, red onion, and cilantro.

Uncooked extra lean ground turkey breast

1 pound(s)

Uncooked red onion(s)

2 tbsp(s), chopped, minced

Dried plain breadcrumbs

1 tbsp(s)

Fresh tomato(es)

4 slice(s), thick slices

Instructions

  1. Stir together turkey, onion, bread crumbs, chipotles in adobo sauce, and 3/4 teaspoon salt in medium bowl just until combined. With damp hands, shape mixture into 4 (1/2-inch-thick) patties.
  2. Heat oil in large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add patties and cook, turning once, until instant-read thermometer inserted into side of each burger registers 165°F, about 10 minutes.
  3. Meanwhile, to make the dressing, stir together yogurt, and mayonnaise, and remaining 1/8 teaspoon salt in small bowl.
  4. Spread dressing inside of buns. Fill buns with burgers, tomato slices, onion slices, avocado, and cilantro sprigs.
  5. Serving size: (1 dressed burger and 1 1/2 tablespoons dressing)
