An easy and pretty way to drizzle the glaze: Dip a fork in and let the glaze run off the tines.

Ingredients

Frozen pizza crust dough

10 oz, at room temperature

Canned fruit pie filling

cup(s), cherry

Salted butter

½ tsp(s)

Powdered sugar (confectioner's)

¼ cup(s)

1% low fat milk

1½ tbsp(s)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F; spray a baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. On a lightly floured work surface, unroll the dough. With your hands, press it into a square; cut into 4 squares. Place 2 tablespoons of the pie filling in the centre of the dough; fold into triangles on the diagonal and press the edges with a fork to seal. Place the turnovers on the baking sheet; brush with the butter. Bake until golden brown, 10-12 minutes. Cool slightly on a wire rack.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk the confectioners' sugar and milk until smooth. Brush or drizzle the glaze over the turnovers; serve warm.
