Apricot-glazed baked ham

With only five ingredients and 10 minutes of prep time, you can make a wow-worthy holiday centerpiece. The secret is using powerhouse ingredients—apricot preserves, grainy mustard, and fresh ginger—so that each packs its own flavour punch. If all you find are presliced boneless hams, that’s fine; that’s what we used in the photograph. The ham will hold together until you pry off each slice with a knife. For easy cleanup, you’ll want to line your pan with foil, as the sweet glaze tends to scorch.
Cooked lean ham

¾ cup(s), apricot-variety
2 tbsp(s), peeled and grated
Apple cider vinegar
- Preheat oven to 300°F. Line a small rimmed sheet pan with aluminum foil. Coat foil with cooking spray and arrange ham, flat side down, on pan.
- In a medium bowl, combine preserves, mustard, ginger, and vinegar; reserve half of glaze for serving and use the rest for basting. Brush a thin layer of glaze over all surfaces of ham. Cook, brushing with glaze every 30 minutes, until a thermometer inserted in the center of ham registers 140°F, about 2 hours. Serve warm or at room temperature.
