Why you should do what works
You might already have more tools in your toolbox than you think.

Raise your hand if you’ve found yourself focusing on what isn’t going well…
Same.
It’s pretty common to have a tendency to notice—and focus on—the not-so-great things in life. It can also be common to think that getting healthier—and losing weight—means needing to overcome “weaknesses.” That can lead to feeling uninspired, defeated, and unsure of ourselves when it comes to reaching our weight-loss and wellness goals. (Not very helpful.)
This month we’re flipping the switch. By focusing on what comes naturally for us, we’re way more likely to achieve those goals. Studies show that people who actually leverage their strengths instead of focusing on “fixing” any perceived weak spots are happier in the long run.
Side note: Happier people make healthier choices. (A good thing.)
Even better, when we create goals around what comes naturally to us or what’s worked in the past, we’re bound to be more successful since we feel confident—and importantly, our journey feels livable.
