How to Embrace the Here and Now
Knowing how to plan ahead is great. Knowing how to focus on being in the moment—also pretty important.

You’ve heard the drill before:
➔ Plan ahead to stay on track and reduce in-the-moment decisions.
➔ Reflect on what’s working—and what’s not.
➔ Decide what you’ll keep doing—and what you want to change.
That’s all well and good. And trust us, we know you’ve probably heard us talk about all of those things a bunch. And that’s because they’re super important techniques and critical for reaching your goals.
But what about being in the moment? Isn’t that important too?
Sure, we tend to think a lot about what’s coming next, but accepting what’s going on right now—and where you are—can actually fuel you forward to respond to setbacks and reach those goals of yours. It’s also helpful in those moments when planning and deciding and reflecting just aren’t going to happen.
That’s why we’re talking about strategies for embracing the here and now this month. Check back over the next four weeks for our Weekly Techniques.
