Ever heard of a mug cake? This recipe is similar to that—simply combine a few ingredients in a mug, and zap it for only a minute or two in the microwave to create a quick dessert for one. A little bit of cornstarch gives the cooked strawberries a thick, glossy texture, and store-bought granola makes an effortless crunchy topping.

Ingrédients

Strawberries

1 cup(s), chopped

Turbinado sugar

1 tsp(s)

Cornstarch

½ tsp(s)

Low-fat granola

2 tbsp(s)

In a 10- to 12-oz microwave-safe mug, stir together strawberries, sugar, and cornstarch. Microwave on High until just bubbly, about 1 minute.

Sprinkle granola over strawberry mixture. Microwave on High until juices around edges look thickened, 15 to 30 seconds.
