No a big fan of kale on its own? Combine it with a little chilli, garlic, lemon and roasted almonds and it becomes the perfect flavoursome side dish.

Ingredients

olive oil

1 tbs

fresh red chilli

2 whole, finely chopped

garlic

5 clove(s), thinly sliced

lemon zest

1½ tbs

kale

4 cup(s), 2 bunches, stems trimmed, leaves chopped

roasted almonds

¼ cup(s), (40g) chopped

Instructions

  1. Heat a wok over high heat. Heat oil for 30 seconds. Stir-fry chilli, garlic and lemon zest for 1 minute. Add kale and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes or until just wilted.
  2. Sprinkle with almonds to serve.
