Give plain popcorn the flick and try this spice-coated version for a seriously tasty snack.


Ingredients
Popcorn kernels (unpopped)
80 g
Chilli powder
1 tsp
Ground cumin
1 tsp
Smoked paprika
1 tsp
Garlic powder or flakes
½ tsp, (powder)
Oil spray
1 x 3 second spray(s)

To cook the popcorn, place popcorn kernels in an air popper and cook following manufacturer’s instructions. Alternatively, if you’re using the microwave, place popcorn in a large microwave-safe bowl, cover with a microwave-safe plate and microwave on High (100%) for 3–4 minutes or until popping subsides.

Combine chilli powder, cumin, paprika, garlic powder and ½ teaspoon salt in a small bowl. Lightly spray cooked popcorn with oil. Sprinkle spice mix over popcorn and toss to combine. Serve.
