Ingredients

Popcorn, kernels, unpopped

80 g

Ground chilli

1 tsp

Ground cumin

1 tsp

Smoked paprika

1 tsp

Garlic powder or flakes

½ tsp, powder

Oil spray

1 x 3 second spray(s)

Instructions

  1. To cook the popcorn, place popcorn kernels in an air popper and cook following manufacturer’s instructions. Alternatively, if you’re using the microwave, place popcorn in a microwave-safe bowl, cover with plate and microwave on High (100%) for 3–4 minutes or until popping subsides. Be sure to lightly spray cooked popcorn with oil before adding flavour to help it stick.
  2. Combine chilli powder, cumin and paprika, garlic powder and ½ teaspoon salt in a small bowl. Sprinkle over popcorn and toss to combine. Serve.
