- In a medium-size bowl, toss strawberries with 2 teaspoon sugar and set aside.
- In a medium saucepan, add milk and 1 cup water, bring to a simmer over medium heat. Stir in oats, remaining brown sugar, vanilla, ¼ teaspoon salt and cinnamon. Cook, stirring occasionally, 5-6 minutes or until thick.
- Serve oatmeal with strawberry topping.
