Ingredients

Fresh strawberries

250 g, sliced

Brown sugar

1 tbs

Skim milk

¾ cup(s), (185ml)

Rolled oats, dry

1 cup(s), (90g)

Vanilla bean extract

1 tsp

Ground cinnamon

¼ tsp

Instructions

In a medium-size bowl, toss strawberries with 2 teaspoon sugar and set aside.

In a medium saucepan, add milk and 1 cup water, bring to a simmer over medium heat. Stir in oats, remaining brown sugar, vanilla, ¼ teaspoon salt and cinnamon. Cook, stirring occasionally, 5-6 minutes or until thick.

Serve oatmeal with strawberry topping.
