This milkshake has a nuttiness to it thanks to the addition of almond meal.

Ingredients

Skim milk

1 cup(s)

Fresh strawberries

75 g, or frozen

Almond meal

1 tbs

Vanilla bean extract, alcohol free

1 tsp

Instructions

  1. Using a food processor or blender, process milk, strawberries, almond meal and vanilla until thick and creamy. Pour into a chilled serving glass. Serve.

Notes

TIP: To hull fresh strawberries, use a small, sharp knife to cut on an angle around the stalk. Wash strawberries just before using.Almond meal is ground almonds and adds a delicious nutty flavour to this shake. Tip: You can use LSA mix (ground linseed, sunflower seed and almond mix) instead of almond meal.
