Skinny sausage rolls

For less fat but all the flavour, we've put a skinny spin on an old classic
Extra lean beef sausages
480 g, (6 sausages)
Reduced-fat puff pastry
1 sheet(s), just thawed
1 medium, lightly beaten
¼ cup(s), (60ml) to serve
- Preheat oven to 220˚C or 200˚C fan-forced. Line a baking tray with baking paper. Cut the sausages in half, remove and discard the skin.
- Evenly cut the pastry into 12 squares. Place 1 sausage in the centre of each. Lightly brush sides of pastry with egg then roll up to enclose sausage. Place seam side down on tray.
- Brush the sausage rolls with egg. Bake for 30-35 mins or until golden and cooked through.
TIP: Uncooked sausage rolls can be wrapped in plastic and frozen for up to 3 months.
