Nobody will ever guess that canned chickpeas are the secret ingredient to this easy dessert. Enjoy the cookie dough on its own, or served over chopped banana and strawberries. They're a fun, no-bake way to get a protein boost and will remind you of making homemade cookies or your favourite ice cream flavour.


Ingredients
Canned chickpeas
¾ cup(s)
Natural mineral water
45 ml, (3 tbsp)
Brown sugar
1 tbs
Salt
¼ tsp
Baking powder
¼ tsp, or pinch
Whey protein isolate, no added sugar
1 scoop(s), vanilla-flavour
Plain wholemeal flour
2 tbs
Milk chocolate chips
1 tbs
Instructions

Puree chickpeas and water in a food processor. Add sugar, salt, baking soda, and protein powder; pulse to combine. Add flour and chocolate chips; pulse to combine. Refrigerate up to 4 days.
