Ingredients

Pear(s)

650 g, peeled, cored, thinly sliced

Plain flour

125 g

Reduced fat oil spread

50 g

Demerara sugar

45 g

Almond meal

50 g

Flaked almonds

20 g

Oil spray

2 x 3 second spray(s)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C. Lightly spray a 20cm oval baking dish with oil.
  2. Place pears in a medium saucepan, cover with boiling water and heat over a medium heat. Simmer for 7 minutes, or until pears are just tender. Drain, then arrange slices over base of dish.
  3. Place flour in a medium bowl. Using fingertips, rub spread into flour until mixture resembles coarse breadcrumbs. Stir in sugar, ground and flaked almonds until combined. Sprinkle crumble over pears.Lightly spray with oil.
  4. Bake for 20 minutes, or until crumble is golden and bubbling. Cool slightly before serving.
