Can't decide between nachos and pizza? Then combine the best of both dishes in this tasty fast-food alternative.

Ingredients

Wholemeal pita bread

46 g, (1 x small round)

Tomato paste

1 tbs

Canned refried beans

¼ cup(s), (60g)

97% fat-free deli sliced ham

50 g

Red capsicum

¼ cup(s), thinly sliced

Reduced-fat 15% cheddar cheese

¼ cup(s), grated, (30g), grated

Rocket

½ cup(s)

Tomato-based salsa

1 tbs

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 220°C or 200°C fan-forced. Place pita on a baking tray.
  2. Spread pita with tomato paste. Top with beans, ham, capsicum and sprinkle with cheese. Bake for 10 minutes or until cheese is melted and golden and the base is crisp.
  3. Cut pizza into quarters. Serve topped with the rocket and salsa.
