Falafel and hummus pita wrap
Ready in just 15 minutes, this tasty Lebanese-style vegetarian wrap makes a satisfying working-from-home lunch, but it’s equally good wrapped up for a meal on-the-go.
120 g, cooked, (see tip)
2 individual, (2 x 85g)
1½ cup(s), (75g) shredded
8 individual, sliced
¼ small, thinly sliced
Light tasty cheese
15 g, grated
- Heat falafels following packet instructions. Spread breads with hummus.
- Thinly slice falafels and arrange down the centre of each bread with lettuce, tomato, onion and cheese. Roll up tightly to enclose filling. Cut in half to serve.
COOK'S TIPS: You can buy premade cooked falafels from the refrigerated section in supermarkets. Try a drizzle of hot chilli sauce over filling.
