Easy beef burger
Extra lean beef mince, raw
1 medium, half finely chopped and half thinly sliced
1 medium, lightly beaten
1 cup(s), shredded, (8 small leaves)
1 medium, thinly sliced
Pickled gherkin, drained
2 individual, thinly sliced
Wholemeal bread roll
4 medium, (4 x 50g), split in half
1 x 3 second spray(s)
- Combine mince, finely chopped onion and egg in a bowl. Shape mixture into four 2 cm-thick patties. Season with salt and pepper.
- Lightly spray a large non-stick frying pan or chargrill pan with oil and heat over medium heat. Cook patties for 10 minutes, turning occasionally, or until cooked through.
- Layer lettuce, tomato, burger patties, sliced onion and gherkins over roll bases. Cover with roll tops to serve.
