Dee's hot cross buns

Ingredients
White self-raising flour
1 cup(s), (150g)
99% fat-free, plain or natural yoghurt, unsweetened
½ cup(s), (120g)
Fresh dates
3 individual, chopped
Dried cranberries
30 g
Ground cinnamon
½ tsp
Egg(s)
1 medium, lightly beaten

Preheat oven to 180℃.

In a large bowl, combine flour, yoghurt, dates, cranberries and cinnamon. Mix well to form a dough. Remove a small amount of dough for making the crosses. Divide remaining dough into 8 pieces and shape into buns.

Place buns onto a baking tray. Roll remaining dough into long thin cords and decorate top of each bun with a cross. Lightly brush buns with egg. Bake for 10-15 minutes or until tops are golden.
