Ingredients

Fresh dates

300 g, pitted

Dried fig(s)

100 g, coarsely chopped

Shredded or desiccated coconut

¼ cup(s), (20g)

Raw cashews

½ cup(s), (75g) unsalted

Dry rolled oats

¼ cup(s), (20g)

Cocoa powder

¼ cup(s), (20g)

Chia seeds

2 tsp, white variety

Instructions

  1. Using a food processor, process the dates and figs until finely chopped. Add the coconut, cashews, oats and cocoa and process until the mixture forms a firm paste. Add 1-2 teaspoons water if necessary to bring the mixture together.
  2. Place chia seeds on a plate. Roll 2 level teaspoons of mixture into balls and roll in the chia seeds to coat.
