Up the ante and protein of your morning avo on toast with the addition of chickpeas.


Ingredients
Avocado
1 small, ripe, pitted
Salsa verde
2 tbs
Canned chickpeas
½ cup(s), rinsed and drained
Wholegrain bread
2 slice(s), toasted
Dried chilli flakes
⅛ tsp
Instructions

In a medium bowl, mash avocado, salsa, and a pinch of salt with a fork until mostly smooth. Add chickpeas and mash to combine. Divide chickpea-avocado mixture between toast slices and spread evenly. Sprinkle with chilli flakes.
