Cheesy bean toasties

Don’t have a jaffle or sandwich maker? Not to worry. Cook the toasties in a frying pan.


Ingredients
Wholemeal bread
280 g, (buy 8 x 35g slices)
Reduced fat oil spread
1 tbs
Baked beans in tomato sauce, salt-reduced
1 cup(s), (270g)
Extra light cheddar cheese
84 g, (4 x 21g slices)
Fresh flat-leaf parsley
1 tbs, finely chopped
Instructions

Preheat a jaffle or sandwich maker. Spread the bread with the spread. Place four slices, spread-side down, on a clean work surface.

Top with the beans, cheese and parsley. Season with black pepper. Place onto the sandwich maker and cover with the remaining bread slices, spread-side up. Close the sandwich maker and cook for 2 minutes or until golden and crisp.
