Breakfast berry trifle
Try this delicious breakfast full of natural goodness to help keep that mid-morning hunger at bay!
99% fat-free, plain or natural yoghurt, unsweetened
1⅓ cup(s), thawed, (200g)
- Spoon half the muesli into the base of 2 glasses. Top each with half a tub of yoghurt and one-quarter of the berries. Repeat with remaining muesli, yoghurt and berries. Serve trifles with long spoons.
TIP: You can use fresh berries for this recipe when they are in season. Or substitute 1 banana or 125g strawberries and 2 tablespoons dried currants for the mixed berries.Berries have a short growing season and a limited shelf-life so it’s always handy to have a packet of frozen berries in the freezer for smoothies or baking.
