Vibrant in colour and flavour, this smoothie is a delicious way to get an antioxidant boost.

Ingredients

Cooked peeled beetroot

100 g, fresh (see tip)

Frozen blueberries

100 g

Freshly squeezed orange juice

cup(s), (85ml)

99% fat-free plain Greek yoghurt

1½ tbs

Instructions

  1. Blend 100g cooked fresh beetroot (see tip),
  2. 100g frozen blueberries, ⅓ cup (85ml) freshly
  3. squeezed orange juice and 1½ tablespoons
  4. 99% fat-free plain Greek yoghurt in a blender until
  5. smooth and combined. Pour evenly into 2 glasses
  6. or travel mugs and serve.

Notes

TIP: Packaged cooked fresh beetroot is available from the fresh food section in major supermarkets.
