Your ww app home screen and SmartPoints dashboard
Your My Day dashboard is your home base for your weight loss progress. You'll see how many SmartPoints you've used and how many you have left. From here you can easily track food, activity, water, sleep and weight.
It's easier than ever to track what you eat
From your dashboard, type the name of your food in to the search bar. Select the food you want to track from the list. Select a meal time and serve, then tap 'Track Food'. Your daily points will automatically update.
For easy tracking you can also use any of the following features under your search bar:
- Barcode Scanner: Scan any product's barcode.
- Quick Add: Enter the SmartPoints value if you already know it (i.e from a WW cookbook).
- Calculator: Enter the nutritional information from the back of a packaged product.
- My Foods: Find any food, recipe or meal you have created.
- Favourites: Find any saved food or recipe you have starred.
- Emoji tracking: Type an food emoji into the search bar, for example an apple 🍏. Then tap the relevant food item.
Connect your fitness device to auto track sleep and activity
You can track your sleep in the WW app, just like you track food and activity. And after you track, you'll get a science-backed technique to help you get a little more shut-eye. You can also sync your fitness device to automatically track your sleep. Here's how>
Keep check of your hydration and water intake
Easily track how much water you're drinking straight from your dashboard.
Where to find it: To track your water intake, find the water item on your dashboard under snacks. Tap the + symbol for each cup you drink.
Browse and search 5,500+ healthy meals and recipes
We have over 5,500 healthy and easy recipes to keep you inspired in the kitchen—from brekkie to dessert, vegan to nut free, we have recipes to suit everyone. In the WW app you can customise, track and save your favourites.
Where to find it: Find recipes by typing a keyword into the search bar. Alternatively you can type 'recipes' into the search bar then tap 'Discover all recipes'. Here you can browse recipes recommended for you or look through some of our popular collections.
Get the SmartPoints of your favourite recipes
Build your favourite recipes into the app to find out the SmartPoints value and make tracking them in the future a breeze.
Where to find it: To create recipes from scratch, tap the search bar on your dashboard, then scroll along the top to 'My Foods' then tap 'Recipes'. Tap the 3 dots in the right hand corner and then 'Build a recipe'. Add a title, number of serves and each ingredient and tap the tick symbol in the right hand corner.
Follow video and audio workouts for every fitness level and style
We’ve partnered with FitOn, Aaptiv and obé, to bring the guidance and encouragement of a personal trainer into the WW app! Choose from a wide variety of audio and video workouts based on your fitness level, what you enjoy and how much time you have.
Where to find it: Access all partnership workouts via the Activity tab along the top of your dashboard, then scroll down. Alternatively you can access by scrolling on your dashboard down to the carousel titled 'Strengthen your body and mind'.
Listen to audio mindset coaching and Headspace meditations
We created quick audio sessions lead by Dr. Allison—WW’s Director of Behaviour Change—to help you de-stress and stay focused. We’ve also partnered with Headspace, a leader in meditation and mindfulness, to help you meditate any time, anywhere.
Where to find it: Access 5-minute coaching and Headspace meditations by scrolling on your dashboard down to the carousel titled 'Strengthen your body and mind'. Scroll across to '5-minute Coaching' and the browse options.
Keep track of your journey and celebrate your milestones
On the Journey tab you'll see the days you tracked within the Food Tracking Zone (your SmartPoints Budget range) which is represented as a blue dot. See how many days you can get in a row and join the #bluedotchallenge in Connect! You will also see your messages under this tab.
Where to find it: Access the Journey tab via tapping the graph icon at the bottom of your dashboard.
Join our supportive member-only social community
'Connect' is our member-only private community to engage with other WW members. Join groups, share your progress, photos and videos, plus view updates from fellow members.
Where to find it: Access Connect via tapping on the people icon on the bottom right hand corner of your dashboard.

Set your fitness goals and smash them
The Activity tab on your dashboard allows you to view your weekly earned FitPoints, minutes of activity and steps. Don't forget to sync your fitness device to automatically track your activity. Here's how>
Where to find it: Access the activity tab by tapping 'Activity' on the right hand side of your dashboard. To manually track activity, simply search the activity in the search bar—for example 'Walking the dog'—then entre the minute and tap 'Track Activity'.
