Ingredients

Skinless chicken breast

500 g, cut lengthways into 3cm thick strips

Buttermilk

1 cup(s), (250ml)

Panko breadcrumbs

1 cup(s), (60g)

Smoked paprika

½ tsp

Garlic powder or flakes

½ tsp, (powder)

Oil spray

2 x 3 second spray(s)

Instructions

Combine chicken and buttermilk in a large reusable container. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour.

Combine panko, paprika and garlic powder in a separate large reusable container. Season with salt and pepper. Drain chicken and cut into 3 cm pieces. Place chicken in crumb mixture, seal container, then shake until pieces are evenly coated.

Lightly spray a 7.5 litre capacity air fryer basket with oil. Preheat air fryer to 200°C. Place chicken nuggets in prepared basket and cook for 5 minutes. Remove basket and gently shake to turn nuggets. Lightly spray nuggets with oil and return to air fryer for a further 5 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through. Serve.
