Thai chicken fried rice
Save a plenty of time when making this fried rice by using microwave rice, it’ll be quicker then ordering take-away!
1 tbs, or canola oil
Chicken breast mince
Garlic and chilli paste
Vegetable mix, non-starchy, frozen
2 cup(s), diced variety
½ cup(s), (125ml)
Microwave white rice
½ cup(s), Thai variety
- Heat oil in a large non-stick frying pan over high heat. Cook mince, stirring to break up lumps, for 5 minutes or until browned. Add garlic chilli paste. Cook, stirring, for 1 minute or until fragrant.
- Add vegetables and cook, stirring, for 2 minutes or until heated through. Add oyster sauce and rice and cook, stirring, for 2 minutes or until heated through. Stir in basil. Serve.
SERVING SUGGESTION: Steamed bok choy.You can use minced prawns or lean pork mince instead of chicken.
