Spiced apple sauce
Apple, granny smith, unpeeled, fresh
4 medium, Peeled, cored, coarsely chopped
2 tsp, 4 x 2g Natvia
- Place the apple, lemon juice, sweetener, star anise, cinnamon and 1/3 cup (80ml) of water in a medium saucepan. Cover and bring to the boil over medium heat.
- Reduce heat to low. Cook, covered, for 10 minutes or until tender.
- Discard the star anise. Use the back of a spoon to mash the apples until a coarse puree forms. Season with salt.
