Sardine pate on rye crispbreads

This filling and omega-3 packed spread is great on crackers or sandwiches.


Ingredients
Sardines, canned in springwater, drained
100 g
97% fat-free cottage cheese
2 tbs
Lemon juice
1 tbs
Red onion
½ small, finely chopped
Fresh chives
2 tbs
Rye crispbread
4 regular, (10g each)
Lebanese cucumber
1 medium, sliced
Instructions

Using a food processor or blender, process sardines, cheese and juice until smooth. Stir in onion and half the chives.

Top crispbreads with cucumber and season with freshly ground black pepper. Spread with pâté and sprinkle with remaining chives. Serve.
