Roasted pears and chocolate sauce
reduced fat oil spread

- Preheat oven to 190°C or 170°C fan-forced. Peel pears and halve lengthways, leaving stems intact. Place pears, cut-side up, in an ovenproof dish just large enough to fit them in a single layer. Drizzle with spread and syrup. Bake for 40-45 minutes, basting occasionally, or until golden and tender.
- Meanwhile, whisk cocoa, cornflour and milk in a small saucepan. Stir in sugar and heat over medium heat, stirring constantly, for 3–4 minutes or until mixture boils and thickens. Pour sauce into small pots. Serve chocolate sauce with pears.
