Hommus is made with tahini (sesame seed paste)and blended together with chickpeas, olive oil, cumin and lemon juice.

Ingredients

Wholemeal lavash bread

2 piece(s)

Reduced-fat hummus

4 tbs

Butter lettuce

2 cup(s), (4 large leaves)

Deli-sliced roast beef

100 g, (4 slices)

Tomato(es)

10 small, (grape), quartered

Red onion

½ small, thinly sliced

Instructions

  1. Place the lavash on a flat surface. Spread hommus onto half of each piece, leaving a 1cm border. Top each with lettuce, beef, tomato and onion. Season with freshly ground black pepper.
  2. Roll up each lavash, starting from the short end nearest the filling. Serve.

Notes

TIP: Wrap securely in foil after rolling in Step 2. Refrigerate until lunch time.
