Peppered beef burgers

With chargrilled capsicum and a sprinkling of pepper, these gourmet burgers will satisfy the whole family!


Ingredients
Frozen hot chips or fries, cooked without oil
400 g
Extra lean beef mince, raw
400 g
Pepper
2 tsp
Worcestershire sauce
1 tbs
Horseradish sauce
1 tbs
Extra light sour cream
¼ cup(s), (60g)
Multigrain bread roll
4 medium, split
Baby spinach
60 g
Tomato(es)
2 medium, thinly sliced
Roasted capsicum, not in oil
150 g, or chargrilled, thickly sliced
Oil spray
1 x 3 second spray(s)

Cook chips following packet instructions or until browned and crisp.

Meanwhile, combine mince, pepper and Worcestershire sauce in a bowl. Using hands, shape mince mixture into four 2cm-thick patties. Lightly spray a large, non-stick frying pan with oil and heat over medium-high heat. Cook patties for 3-4 minutes on each side or until cooked through.

Combine horseradish and sour cream in a small bowl. Place roll bases on serving plates. Spread with half the horseradish mixture. Layer with spinach, tomatoes, capsicum and patties. Top with remaining horseradish mixture, then sandwich with roll tops. Serve with chips.
