Ingredients

Dry rolled oats

1 cup(s), (120g)

Skim milk

2 cup(s), (500ml)

Ground cinnamon

1 tsp, plus extra to serve

Pear(s)

2 medium, cored

99% fat-free plain natural yoghurt

Instructions

  1. Place oats, milk, 1 cup (250ml) of water and cinnamon in a large saucepan and stir well. Bring to the boil over medium heat. Reduce heat and simmer for 3-4 minutes, stirring continuously, until thick and creamy.
  2. Grate 1 pear and stir it into porridge. Slice remaining pear. Serve porridge topped with sliced pear, yoghurt and a sprinkling of extra cinnamon.
